My name is Rod Patterson.
I'd like to introduce you to my art and craft.
Please take the links to see some of the recent figurative and mythofigurative sculptures:
The WIND DANCER WinDancer The model was such a joy to work with. I had asked her to move through the pose from lots of different motions. As her muscled rippled when she danced in the wind, she seemed to merge with the buffeting breezes. It was fun, maybe it helped.
ISIS ISIS Rising from her dream of OSIRIS with the conception of HORUS. Her husband and son are sculpted in her hair. for more on this please see the TAKE THE ART TO THE PEOPLE project
The Nelly a tribute to the sculptors of the wonderful sculptures of Khajuraho
LYNN She was a dancer, and we were so much younger then.
The Persian war veteran The Persian war lasted over 10 years, so by the time most of the vets got home, they were a tad grizzled. he is middle aged, leather tough, hard as nails, and a tad paranoid. He has a minimalist painting of APHRODITE on the inside of his shield-"and his enemies were wondering why he was smiling at them during battle".

I hope your linking was trouble free, and that you liked what you saw.
